1.STATEMENT
1.1 The following statement explains the Arena Privacy Policy ("this Policy") regarding the personal information collected by Astro Arena about you. Upon registration and from time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (eg name and email address etc.) in order to use the Arena Services on the Arena Website. By providing Astro Arena with your details in the fields requested, you enable Astro Arena to provide you with the Arena Services. We will treat such personal information in accordance with this Policy. This Policy covers Astro Arena and its Arena Website at http://www.arena.my.
1.2 The Arena Services is provided to you subject to the Arena Website Terms of Use & Noticesand in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Astro Arena will act in accordance with current Malaysian legislation on personal information protection in this Policy and as far as practicable, aim to meet current internet best practices.
1.3 The term Authorised Third Parties describes the contractors, agents and third party suppliers with whom Astro Arena and/or is affiliates or its group of companies within the Astro Group enter into agreements from time to time and persons with whom they may contract in order to provide the Arena Services. For the purposes herein, all words and expressions shall have the same meaning as in the Arena Website Terms of Use & Notices, except where otherwise expressly stated.
By submitting your information, you consent to the use of your personal information collected by us, in the manner as set out in this Policy and the Astro Arena's Privacy Policy under the URL at http://arena.my/tabid/474/Default.aspx.
2. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
2.1 Astro Arena may revise and update this Policy at any time by posting such revised Policy at http://arena.my/tabid/474/Default.aspxp. When Astro Arena posts changes to this Policy, you will see the word "updated" next to this Policy link on the Home Page of the Arena Website. You should periodically review this Policy for changes. Your continued use and access of the Arena Services and Arena Website will mean you accept those changes.
3. USERS UNDER 18
3.1 The Arena Website is not directed at parties under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please get your parent/guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information to the Arena Website. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide Astro Arena with personal information.
4. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal Information Collection
4.1 Astro Arena collects your personal information (i.e. personal information which identifies you, e.g., your name and postal address, date of birth, gender, telephone and fax numbers, email address, and credit/debit card information; lifestyle; photos, videos or other shared content uploaded to the extent that it includes personal information) only with your knowledge and consent when you use the Arena Website, the Arena Services, make use of our product and service enquiries, or when you respond to communications from Astro Arena (such as contests, questionnaires or surveys) and other information collected on registration or through surveys, which consent is deemed to be given if the purpose of collection falls within the scope of this Policy. Astro Arena uses the personal information collected for the purposes as specified when such information was sought and/or other purposes as stated in this Policy.
4.2 When you request pages from the Arena Website server, it automatically collects some information about your preferences, including your IP address. Astro Arena uses this to help diagnose problems with the Arena Website and server, to administer the Arena Website and for the purposes set out in Section 5 below.
Non-personally Identifying Information
4.1 Astro Arena automatically collects aggregate and demographic information about the use of the Arena Website, including which pages are most frequently visited, how many visitors the Arena Website receives daily, how long visitors stay on each page, your preferences and other similar sites based on your browsing (click-stream) activities. This information may include the pages you browse and products and services viewed or ordered for example. This helps Astro Arena to better provide you with a more enjoyable, customised service and experience in the future.
4.2 Astro Arena uses the information available to create profiles of the Arena Website user base. Astro Arena may provide aggregate profile information of its users to advertisers to help tailor information from the advertisers to your interests. For example, Astro Arena may inform advertisers that it has a certain number of Member's Account users that have an interest in a topic and are interested in receiving information about the topic.
Third Party Information.
4.3 Astro Arena does not monitor or permanently store third party information save for the purpose of accounting, billing or record keeping, or unless required in law.
5. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
5.1 Your personal information will be used by Astro Arena, its affiliates or Authorised Third Parties, in support of the purposes stated at the time at which it was given or sought, and/or for the following reasons:
• For the purposes of technical administration of the Arena Website;
•For research and development;
•Statistical analysis;
•Customer administration;
•Profiling service preferences;
• Finance and marketing operations and activities and/or as required in the provision of our services including but not limited to credit control services;
• In compliance with any regulatory, statutory or legal obligation imposed on us by any relevant authority;
• To operate and provide the Arena Services
· To support your questions about billing or use of the Arena Services;
· To detect and prevent fraudulent activity;
· To provide other goods and services by Astro Arena or its designated representatives and/or business partners to you or parties designated by you and matters ancillary thereto;
· To verify and process payment when you use the Arena Website and/or the Arena Services or purchase goods and services from Astro Arena;
· To verify and record your personal particulars including comparing it with information from other sources and using the information to communicate with you;
· To conduct market research of the users of the Arena Website and Arena Services including the number of users, the frequency of use, profile of users and using such analysis for our business plans, the enhancement of our products and services, targeted advertisements and conveying such information in broad aggregate terms to third parties who have or propose to have business dealings with Astro Arena;
· To send you information, promotions and updates including marketing and advertising materials in relation to our goods and services and those of third party organizations selected by Astro Arena;
• To comply with any order of court or directive from authorities investigating any alleged offence, misdeed and/or abuse or to enforce any of the terms in the Arena Website Terms of Use & Notices or, where such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of Astro Arena.
5.2 If Astro Arena wishes to use your personal information for new purposes, Astro Arena will offer you the means to consent to those new purposes by sending an email to the Webmaster Account.
6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
6.1 Astro Arena will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Except as provided for herein, Astro Arena will not disclose personal information about you to any third party without your consent.
6.2 Astro Arena may from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about particular goods, offers or services that may be of interest to you. In those cases, personal information that may identify you will not be transferred to the third party. All communication whether from Astro Arena or our business partners will be sent to you by Astro Arena.
6.3 Astro Arena may however, need to work with Authorised Third Parties to provide part or all of the Arena Website, the Arena Services and/or other services to you or to perform market research and statistical analysis. In such situations, Astro Arena will share your personal information as is necessary for the Authorised Third Party to perform these services, on a strictly confidential basis. These parties are not allowed to use your personal information disclosed to them except for the limited purpose of providing the particular service for Astro Arena. By using and continuing to use the Arena Website you are deemed to have consented to such disclosure.
6.4 Without limiting the above, Astro Arena may disclose your personal information and/or your Member's Account to its affiliates and/or its group of companies within the Astro Group for accounting or reporting purposes, subject to the terms of this Policy.
6.5 Astro Arena may disclose your personal information to its affiliates or group of companies within the Astro Group or other organisations for the purposes as outlined in this Section 6. Astro Arena may also provide your information to carefully selected third parties whose products or services it believes may be of interest to you. If you do not wish for Astro Arena to disclose your information, please send an e-mail to the Webmaster Account.
7 LINKS TO OTHER WEB SITES.
7.1 The Arena Website may contain, from time to time, links to other websites. Astro Arena is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites or of any third party. You should review the privacy policies of such websites when you visit them. This Policy applies solely to information collected by the Arena Website.
8 COOKIES
What is a Cookie?
8.1 When you enter a website your computer will automatically be issued with a cookie. Cookies are text files that are placed in your computer's hard drive to identify your computer to our server. Generally, cookies themselves only record those areas of the site that have been visited by the computer in question, and the duration. Many websites do this whenever a user visits their site in order to track traffic flow.
8.2 Depending upon the type of browser you are using, you may set your computers to accept all cookies, to notify you when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time. The last of these, of course, means that certain personalised services cannot then be provided to you.
Astro Arena Cookies
8.3 Astro Arena uses "cookies" to store and track information about you and your use of the Arena Website. Unless you have a Member's Account, Astro Arena cookies in themselves do not identify the individual user, just the computer used. You may browse the Arena Website anonymously until such time as you register as an E-PASS Account Holder.
8..4 The Astro Arena cookie and information retrieved from the Astro Arena cookie is used in line with the uses set out in Section 5 above and more specifically:
• to help save and retrieve passwords used on the Arena Website. This way, you will not have to re-enter information upon every new visit to the Arena Website.
• to track information such as the frequency and duration of your use of the Arena Website, your click-stream as you go through the Arena Website, your preferred sites, and help us determine whether you came to the Arena Website from a particular internet link or banner advertisement;
• to analyse the profile of the Arena Website visitors and users to helps Astro Arena provide you with better service and to enhance our service;
• to personalize the content, banners and promotions that you will see on the Arena Website.
8.5 Most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from your computer's hard drive at the end of a session. You are always free to decline the Arena Website cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on the Arena Website and you may be required to re-enter your password more frequently during a session.

8.6 Astro Arena uses other third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the Arena Website. In the course of serving advertisements to the Arena Website, our third-party advertisers may place or recognize a unique cookie in your computer. These companies may use information retrieved from their cookies to provide advertisements on the Arena Website and other websites about goods and services that may be of interest to you.
9 ASTRO ARENA HAS NO ACCESS TO OR CONTROL OVER THIRD-PARTY COOKIES AND THEY ARE NOT SUBJECT TO ARENA'S PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE REVIEW THE PRIVACY POLICY OF THESE THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES FOR DETAILS.
9.1 If you want to prevent one of these third-party companies from sending and reading cookies on your computer, you will need to visit each of their websites individually to request that you be removed from that system.
10 OPTING-OUT, CHANGE, UPDATE OF AND ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION
10.1 You will be given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having your information used for purposes not directly related to the Arena Services and Arena Website at the point where Astro Arena asks for information. If you do not wish to receive our promotional updates you may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line in the email sent or by emailing us at the Webmaster Account.
10.2 If you wish to correct, change or update your particulars in your Member's Account, please click on the "Member's Account to do so. You will need to have your user ID and password.
10.3 You may terminate and close your Member's Account by logging in to the "Member's Account" from the e-mail address provided by you the time you opened your Member's Account and created your user ID and password. Your e-mail must specify your user ID, and expressly state that you wish to terminate your Member's Account.
10.4 You can write to us vide the Webmaster Account at any time to obtain details of the personal information Astro Arena holds about you. Please quote your name, address, user ID and Member's Account number. It would be helpful if you also provide brief details of what information you want a copy of. Astro Arena may charge a reasonable sum permitted by existing laws to cover our administration costs.
10.5 Astro Arena reserves the right to refuse to provide our visitors with a copy of their personal information, but will give reasons for our refusal.
11. SECURITY
11.1 The internet is not a secure medium, and communications over the internet may be subject to third-party interception. Astro Arena cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information, save in accordance with the Arena Website Terms of Use & Notices.
11.2 Astro Arena has implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect your Member's Account information from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss. All our employees and data processors, who have access to and are associated with the processing of personal information, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your Member's Account information.
11.3 While Astro Arena cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur, Astro Arena makes reasonable efforts to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.
11. 4 Personal information that Astro Arena collects from you will be stored and backed up securely in an environmentally-controlled location. Only authorized people with user ID and password from Astro Arena have access to the information.
11.5 You must remember to log off from your Member's Account and close the browser window after use so that no unauthorized party can have access. You must not, at any time, divulge your user ID and password to any third party.
12. TRANSFERRING YOUR INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF MALAYSIA
It may be necessary to transfer your personal information to affiliates of Astro Arena or other group companies or service providers located in countries outside Malaysia. This may happen where our servers, suppliers, service providers or Authorised Third Parties are based outside Malaysia or where you use the Arena Website and/or Arena Services from countries outside Malaysia. In these instances Astro Arena will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights are respected in accordance with this Policy.
